New York - Clearly, the place to be and seen this weekend if you are remotely connected with steelpan music is at the House of Jazz at Lincoln Center.
It is the annual gala where the steelpan music elite and fraternity gather, interact, converse and renew old acquaintances and forge new
associations. Some of the greatest steelpan musicians on the planet will be there - not to mention the steelpan honored historical giants and pioneers. It is the event at where all the upper management of steelband originations (residents, captains, arrangers) and key personnel and
decision makers are found.
