The Grenada Carnival Committee and the Grenada Cultural Foundation are holding a series of meetings with the different carnival groups as they prepare for carnival 2007.
A press release from the office of the Prime Minister states that meetings have already been held with the Mass Band Association at the Carnival Secretariat upstairs the Melville Street Fish Market.
It adds that at a meeting held on Tuesday, the committees discussed a number of important issues including, Steel band, Mass Band, Calypso and Subventions.
On Monday, 11th June 2007, the committees toured the National Stadium with a logistics team to look at the layout with regard to placing the stage and judges and to look at the most effective way of protecting the field.
